Projects

Below are some of the projects which showcase my direction in improving my skills.

1. Sketch Ease – Accessible Sketching tool

Project Summary – SketchEase is a collaboratively design project focused on creating an intuitive sketching interface with a strong emphasis on accessibility, particularly for users with colour vision/ optic atrophy.

My Role and Contribution : In our group project, I led the accessibility focused research and helped translate those findings into design decisions. I specifically researched how an individual with optic atrophy and colour blindness interact with design tools and then identified common usability issues created by the colour dependant applications. Based on this research, I proposed design solutions that reduced reliance dependancy and utilizing Gestalt laws to create clear visual hierarchy.

I also contributed to early ideation and sketching, and explored different layouts and interaction cues. Throughout this project, I collaborated closely with my team members, sharing research, insights and refining the concept through group feedback and working toward a clean and inclusive final design.

Final design: Focused on grayscale and key element on having Help/Support readily available on each page.
